Granules for dust-free and user-friendly application, either manually or with a spreader. Promotes a green appearance for lawns and other garden plants. Particularly in light, dry soils with a high pH value or extremely high phosphorus levels, plants easily show signs of iron deficiency. 25 kg covers approximately 900 m².

Iron contributes to a more competitive lawn against moss and unwanted weeds. It is also suitable for providing iron to other garden plants.

Application:

On lawns that have been stressed and are covered in moss in early spring (March/April) or early autumn (September/October), apply 25 to 30 g/m² of iron fertilizer evenly. The granular fertilizer can be applied by hand or with a spreader, then the lawn should be watered thoroughly. Applying it a few days after mowing, when temperatures are above 10°C, improves the effect. On heavily used areas, a second application can be made after 8 to 10 weeks. After application, the moss will turn brown or black; it should then be raked off.

On calcareous soils with a high pH and/or compacted soils, iron absorption can be difficult for plants. Signs of iron deficiency in lawns include yellowing grass blades and excessive moss growth. In other garden plants, iron deficiency manifests as pale leaves, while the veins remain green and young shoots turn yellow. Rhododendrons and other acid-loving plants are particularly susceptible to these symptoms. In such cases, fertilizing with 20 g of iron fertilizer per square meter is often sufficient.

Iron fertilizer is not a complete fertilizer. For healthy growth, your lawn also needs a complete fertilizer containing nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium. We recommend Rasofert® – the organo-mineral lawn fertilizer with a long-lasting, natural effect.

Caution!
Iron fertilizer causes rust stains on flooring (concrete slabs, tiles, etc.) and clothing. Immediately remove any fertilizer that accidentally spills on slabs. Be careful of residue on shoe soles and animal paws. Only walk on fertilized areas when the fertilizer has been thoroughly watered.
